One AI research agent has three capabilities: Scan, Brief and Update. It reads unstructured public pages, extracts structured project facts, connects evidence and explains commercial relevance. Defined rules combine importance and deadline urgency into Priority; the agent provides the supporting rationale.
Public sources
The research starts with unstructured public information: pages, plans, notices and updates.
The intended source mix includes utility capital plans, interconnection queues, integrated resource plans, tenders and addenda. Planning signals can reveal demand before a formal solicitation; later notices clarify scope, deadlines and participation requirements.
Scan
The agent finds relevant signals and turns source material into structured project findings.
Scan works within your chosen regions, services and sources. The agent extracts the buyer, location, scope, dates and requirements, links related findings to the same project, and retains the supporting passages. Conflicts and missing facts stay visible.
Brief
The agent connects the findings into a brief that explains the work, its relevance and what needs attention.
Brief combines structured facts with a written assessment of the evidence. It distinguishes source facts from interpretation, explains possible company relevance, and identifies unanswered questions. Priority follows defined importance and urgency rules; the brief explains the rationale.
Update
The agent revisits an existing brief when a schedule, rule or question calls for another check.
Your team can supply context such as “Does this addendum change the civil scope?” The agent checks approved sources, compares the evidence with the prior brief and explains the changes or unresolved gaps. This returns the research to you for review.
Review in Salesforce
Read the brief in Salesforce, inspect its evidence and ask the agent to investigate a question if needed.
Your team can guide an Update with a question or clarification, record an optional assessment, and decide whether to investigate, pursue or keep watching. The animation pauses for an example human decision, then continues. Actual commercial actions remain deliberate user choices.
Assign work in Salesforce
Create and assign a Salesforce Task or Opportunity with the research already attached.
An Account is the issuing or customer organisation. A Market Initiative holds the project brief; Market Signals hold the supporting observations. A Task assigns an investigation or follow-up; an Opportunity records a pursuit. Each keeps the research context used at handoff.

Your team takes the work through investigation, estimating and the sales process.
